Thank you for being an important part of the UTSW alumni community.

Welcome to the spring issue of UT Southwestern Alumni News – your quick update on UT Southwestern Medical School alumni happenings!

A match made in medicine

On Friday, March 15, the Class of 2019 gathered with family and friends in the Bryan Williams, M.D. Student Center to find out where they had been matched for residency. At the sound of a buzzer, the gym erupted with cheers as the fourth-year students discovered where they will be spending the next few years for medical training! Alumni Relations sponsored a Match Day photo booth so all attendees could commemorate the exciting occasion with a picture.

Dr. Lee advances the academic mission of UTSW’s three degree-granting schools, while leading a faculty of more than 2,700. In addition, Dr. Lee is responsible for the institution’s more than $450 million in funding for biomedical research by its faculty.
