In the wake of COVID-19, UT Southwestern Medical Center is fully dedicated to the care of North Texas. Physicians, nurses, and other health care professionals are working around the clock to respond to the community's needs. As the situation rapidly evolves, UTSW is prepared to care for large volumes of patients with the virus and is increasing internal testing capabilities to meet growing demand. The medical center is also participating in clinical trials in order to bring the latest COVID-19 treatments to patients. Additionally, the institution has ongoing research efforts in order to define understanding of the mechanisms and structure of this new coronavirus. Research will inform how UT Southwestern can monitor the virus, intervene, and ultimately improve their approach to prevention.
You can contribute to the fight against COVID-19 from your home. Donations will go to research, support of front-line providers, and patient care efforts.
