Join the President's Research Council for Innovation in Action: Exploring the Latest Advances in Biomedical Engineering with Samuel Achilefu, Ph.D.

Recent advances are demonstrating how previously unimaginable ways of using science and math to solve biological and medical problems are making incredible strides. Developing artificial tissues that can replace damaged tissue, using 3-D print to create artificial organs, and developing prosthetics that can be controlled by a person’s brain are radically expanding our ideas of what is possible in the field of medicine. Dr. Achilefu will discuss the impact of biomedical engineering and research that is offering new promise.
