  Department Chair, Neurological Surgery

  Specializing in neurosurgeries that impact patients with conditions ranging from movement disorders to mental health conditions, Dr. Pouratian is a Professor of Neurological Surgery in the Peter O’Donnell Jr. Brain Institute. A published author who serves on the editorial boards of two of the world’s leading neurology publications, he holds the Lois C.A. and Darwin E. Smith Distinguished Chair in Neurological Surgery.
