Join the President's Research Council for When Good Science Is Not Enough: Barriers to Population-Wide Cholesterol Management with Ann Marie Navar, M.D., Ph.D.

High cholesterol levels are the leading cause of heart disease, which is responsible for almost 20% of U.S. deaths according to the Centers for Disease Prevention and Control. Dr. Navar is using big data to look for patterns in how heart disease affects large communities of people to better inform prevention strategies and help entire populations manage their cholesterol, leading to healthier lives.
