    William Dauer, M.D.

    Director of the Peter O’Donnell Jr. Brain Institute and Professor of Neurology and Neuroscience

    A world-renowned neurologist, Dr. Dauer is acclaimed for his research into dystonia and Parkinson’s disease. He holds the Lois C.A. and Darwin E. Smith Distinguished Chair in Neurological Mobility Research.

  • Dr. Marc Diamond

    Marc Diamond, M.D.

    Director of the Alzheimer's and Neurodegenerative Diseases and Professor of Neurology and Neuroscience

    Dr. Diamond specializes in developing more effective diagnoses and therapies for Alzheimer's and related disorders. He holds the Effie Marie Cain Distinguished University Chair in Alzheimer's Research.

  • Dr. Lora Hooper

    Lora Hooper, Ph.D.

    Professor and Chair, Immunology

    Dr. Hooper researches how resident intestinal bacteria influence the biology of humans and other mammalian hosts. She holds the Jonathan W. Uhr, M.D. Distinguished Chair in Immunology and serves as an investigator of the Howard Hughes Medical Institute.
