Efforts to protect the body from the ill effects of alcohol date back to the ancient Greeks. Learn from leading experts how new research could lead to effective treatments for acute alcohol intoxication, which is responsible for about 1 million emergency room visits in the U.S. each year.

An optional lab tour will follow the program.

The Vanguard event series highlights medical research at UT Southwestern, providing a forum for champions of medical innovation. Registration is limited by invitation. To request an invitation, contact us.
