A new tradition

Founders Day is a new tradition starting this year. It's a chance to celebrate our achievements as one of the nation's top academic institutions and invest in an even brighter future. We're celebrating on May 5 – the anniversary of our founding.

World-changing ideas have humble origins

Every remarkable story has a beginning. Ours was in 1943 when Dr. Edward H. Cary's vision for a world-class medical school and Karl Hoblitzelle's philanthropic investment began a story of excellence our students and faculty continue today.

One day to make an impact

On May 5, our alumni and friends are uniting to make a collective impact. You can make a difference, too. Share your UT Southwestern pride on social media and consider making a gift to create opportunities. The future is ours to create together.
