Rodney Infante, M.D., Ph.D. (Medicine ’12, Fellow ’17)
an Associate Professor of Internal Medicine and in the Center for Human Nutrition at UT Southwestern in Dallas, was elected to the American Society for Clinical Investigation, one of the nation’s oldest medical honor societies.
Anjali Nambiar, M.D. (Medicine ’18)
an Assistant Instructor of Obstetrics and Gynecology at UT Southwestern and an obstetrician-gynecologist in McAllen, Texas, was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society.

an Assistant Professor of Psychiatry at UT Southwestern in Dallas, was appointed an Associate Dean for Student Affairs at the institution. She was also inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society.
Marlene Corton, M.D. (Fellow ’01, Intern ’12)
a Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology at UT Southwestern in Dallas, was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society.
Arshad M. Khanani, M.D. (Fellow ’10)
Managing Partner and Director of Clinical Research for Sierra Eye Associates in Reno, Nevada, was appointed a Clinical Professor at the University of Nevada, Reno.
Simon Lebek, M.D. (Fellow ’23)
a Professor of Internal Medicine, Experimental Cardiology, and Gene Editing at University Hospital Regensburg in Regensburg, Germany, received the Brown-Goldstein Award for Excellence in Postdoctoral Research from the UT Southwestern Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences. The annual award is the highest honor the School bestows on postdoctoral trainees and honors the contributions of UT Southwestern faculty and Nobel Laureates Michael Brown, M.D., and Joseph Goldstein, M.D. (Medicine ’66).
Ildiko Lingvay, M.D. (Fellow ’05, Intern ’05, Health Professions '08)
a Professor of Internal Medicine and Public Health at UT Southwestern in Dallas, was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society.
Nikhil Munshi, M.D., Ph.D. (Intern ’05, Resident ’06, Fellow '11)
an Associate Professor of Internal Medicine, Molecular Biology, and in the Eugene McDermott Center for Human Growth and Development at UT Southwestern in Dallas, was elected to the American Society for Clinical Investigation.
Julie V. Philley, M.D. (Fellow ’12)
former Executive Vice President for Health Affairs and Vice Provost at The University of Texas at Tyler, was appointed President of the institution.
Steven Sparagana, M.D. (Resident ’94, Fellow ’98)
a Professor at UT Southwestern, Pediatric Neurologist at Children’s Health, and Director of the Tuberculosis Sclerosis Complex Clinic at Scottish Rite for Children in Dallas, was honored by the TSC Alliance, which created the Steven Sparagana Legacy Fund to recognize Dr. Sparagana’s upcoming retirement.
