Horned Frogs Hit a Home Run for Adaptive Sports

The Mansfield Baseball Academy’s Horned Frogs believe baseball isn’t just about the game, it’s about giving back. The Horned Frogs recently partnered with UT Southwestern for the first time, raising funds to support the UT Southwestern DFW Adaptive Sports Coalition through its annual golf invitational.

Over 120 golfers came together at Mansfield National Golf Club for the fifth annual Horned Frogs Golf Tournament – the largest yet – to support adaptive sports programming.

UT Southwestern’s DFW Adaptive Sports Coalition provides youths and adults who have disabilities opportunities to participate in athletics, while also supporting vital research to advance accessibility and inclusivity.

“We are so blessed each year to help those in need,” said the Horned Frogs leadership team. “Partnering with UT Southwestern gave us a new way to make a difference in our community.”

By coming together, the Horned Frogs and their supporters are helping UT Southwestern deliver life-changing opportunities to athletes with disabilities – proving that the spirit of the game can make a lasting impact.
