A Legacy of Leadership, Philanthropy, and Compassion
What do you get when you blend an artistic soul, C-suite intellect, down-to-earth demeanor, and philanthropic spirit? While such combinations are rarely found in one person, UT Southwestern is blessed to have found them all in Charles “Chuck” Eisemann.

Mr. Eisemann’s relationship with the Medical Center began more than 25 years ago when he and his wife, Ann, entrusted their care to UTSW. That trust prompted Mr. Eisemann to elevate his partnership with the institution, leading to consistent giving, advocacy, and leadership on the President’s Research Council (PRC) and its Steering Committee.
Mr. Eisemann’s history is replete with examples of his mission to positively impact the community, but one recent local example stands out. As the PRC began transitioning to a new philanthropic model, Mr. Eisemann wanted to ensure the Council exited in style. Annually, the PRC awards grants to two individuals, but this year, Mr. Eisemann suggested supporting all four finalists. “I just thought – you know – let’s go out with a bang,” he said. Everyone gave what they could, and Mr. Eisemann footed the rest of the substantial award himself.
Mr. Eisemann has a legacy of showing up, stepping forward, and assisting others. Though the PRC may be transitioning to another form, his commitment to UTSW isn’t. “I’m here for the long haul, as long as I can be,” he said.
